Apricots
A little gem of the peach world, Apricots are something that little bit special. Try gently poaching them and making a pastry flan or even a light crumble for an unusual winter desert. Fresh with cream is a wonderful treat on a summers afternoon when they are in season here. One of my favourites is apricot jam, a treasure from my childhood which would be great on some homemade bread using some of the Wessex Mill flour available from our grocery.
